Smokin Joe's Lodge is
located on one of the most beautiful and picturesque spots on the Kenai
River. The river flows gently in front of the Main Lodge with a
beautiful tree laden island directly across. This affords not only a
green belt as a viewing backdrop, but also a quiet and peaceul setting.
You will be able to relax, fish or build a fire in the outdoor firepit
on the 30 foot circular deck overlooking the turquoise water of the
Kenai River. An adjoining 17 foot deck provides boat mooring for your
boarding convenience. The lodging for clients faces a quiet greenbelt
with a canal running in front. It is not uncommon to see a Moose
roaming around or Eagles soaring above. The four units are fully
furnished and include a full kitchen and bath, (some with bath and
one-half), living room, dining room and bedrooms that can accomodate up
to six people. After all, Smokin Joe's wants you to feel as comfortable
as you would in your own home.
